Gypsy spells are not just spells you learn but it involves lifestyle changes. For example you have to learn to leave in the "now". Not in yesterday or tomorrow. The past is gone, the future is not set. By letting go of the past is like a heavy weight lifted off your shoulders and by living in the present you assure a better today and with that a better future for tomorrow. You also have to let go your attachment to "things" and "money". Money is useful of course but you should learn to control it and don't let money and possession control you. If you are driven by things and money and you cannot let go of them, you will not succeed in casting Gypsy spells and you should consider buying a different spell-book. Furthermore you have to learn to cast spells only when "have to" and there is no other way. Gypsy spells are not designed for an easy way out (See Purity, possible consequences of spells). First you should try to resolve what ever is the problem without casting spells and when everything else you tried have failed that's when you should consult the Gypsy spell-book. Belief
Belief or positive state of mind automatically increases your abilities to cast spell. The more positive you are, the more your abilities will stretch you may have thought you didn't have. Negative thinking will block it altogether. To insure that you remain in a positive frame of mind, read uplifting and inspirational literature, at least a few pages every day. Also chose friends wisely, who will not drag you down emotionally. Gypsies or Romani people don't read these literature because we grow up with the belief in spells as part of everyday life. There is no question about it if it will work or not, although this culture is slowly but surely disappearing because of racism and the intent to destroy Romani culture altogether. With the destruction of the culture ancient knowledge is lost for ever and only few people left who possess this knowledge.
Purity
Purity means: You cannot do spells for monetary gain, - you cannot ask for money doing spells for others - for revenge or harming others but for love and compassion that will make the spell work. Also spell should be the last resource to use. You shouldn't go around casting spells for everything, but only when there is no other way. The reason for that is your spell will affect not just the person you are casting the spell for, but many other things, such as politics, economics, friendship, marriage and many more. For example I was casting a spell for a friend who's business wasn't going well. Soon after he divorced his wife because he realized she was hopelessly addicted to gambling and she used the business's income to support her gambling addiction and that's why he wasn't successful.
To Be One With the Universe
To be one with the universe can be achieved through meditation. Before spell casting it's recommended to meditate for at least 10 minutes to understand one's real nature. By meditating, I need to understand, not biased self, but a whole self, true self. This true self is one as the universe. One as other human beings and one as all creatures in the world. All the creatures in the universe is connected by one light. By breaking the impurity and recover the pureness of my self is the first meaning of the meditation. With the meditation comes the realization that the whole universe is within me. By the breath of the universe we are born. Thus, we are one with the universe.

The more thoroughly you can relax while remaining consciously alert, the quicker you can unleash your ability to feel and your mind's ability to create - hence, your spell casting potential. Try to get a book on meditation, so you become more familiar with relaxation technics and how to alter your state of consciousness.
